appreciate the Omo area. The Itinerary can be
adjusted to suit your time available.
Day 1
Home departure. Fly Overnight
Day 2 Arrive Addis
Ababa. City Tour. Overnight Hotel in
Addis Ababa.
Day 3 Drive to Jimma.
Overnight best local hotel.
Day 4 Drive to Misan
Terferi. Overnight in very basic Hotel.
Day 5 Drive to Kibbish,
to see Surma Tribe. Camping among the
tribe.
Day 6 Around Kibbish
area. Camping.
Day 7 Return via Misan
terferi. Overnight in hotel in Tepi.
Day 8 Drive to Jimma,
overnight best local hotel.
Day 9 Scenic drive to
Arbaminch via Sodo along the new road.
Hotel overnight.
Day 10 Boat trip across
Lake Chamo. a.m. Visit Nechisar Park p.m. |

Day 11
Drive to Jinka, nearest town to Mago
Park.
Overnight hotel in Jinka.
Day 12 Explore Mago
Park, meet Mursi Tribe.
Day 13 Drive to Turmi.
Days 14, 15 and 16 will be in the Turmi area to see different tribes:
Hamer, Karo, Bena, Bumi. Here you will base yourself at one of the lodges exploring
the whole area over the next few days. For economy you may camp in the grounds if you prefer.
Day 17 Relax at your hotel or drive to Lake Turkana for a day visit.
There could be locally in Turmi area some bull jumping or dancing arranged so you may discuss with your guide.
Day 18 Drive to Konso
and on to Arbaminch.
Day 19 Drive to Addis
Ababa.
Day 20 Fly Home. |
